What an honor it is to be part of all of their lives and to share the wondrous occasions with their friends and family.

Whew, what a weekend. After all that I've ingested over the past five days I should be fasting for the rest of the month. First there was Justin (Ph.D. in Physics) and Marget's (rocket scientist) wedding, pictured above, in Aberdeen, NC. The heat index was a very humid 110 degrees Fahrenheit the entire time we were there. Thank goodness for the pool (thanks Residence Inn!). The wedding was held at the Old Bethesda Church. So old in fact that it didn't have any electricity therefore no air conditioning. Boy was it steamy but still a beautiful ceremony despite the heat.

Catching a 6am Sunday flight in Fayetteville, NC was tough on one and a half hours of sleep but we had to be at Lorna and Peter's wedding in Long Island, NY later that evening. That was a pretty fantastic wedding. It all started at 6pm and didn't end till 2am the next morning. Great food and drinks but nearly impossible to keep a buzz going due to all of the food I was shoveling into my mouth.
