one of the highlights from my stay in paris was the cooking class i took at l'atelier des Chefs. i learned how to make a delicious entree of fish with various vegetables and for dessert mille feuille with caramelized bananas and vanilla cream. the entire class was in french but it was easy to follow along. afterwards, we all ate together and luckily my new friend Kelsey (whom i met in paris and incidentally is from my home state of texas) speaks better french than i do.
